Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup almond butter smooth or crunchy
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix almond butter, honey, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
