Bread
  • 4 slices Whole grain bread or your choice of bread
Avocado Smash
  • 2 medium Avocados ripe
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 pinch Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil optional
Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon Red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley

Method
 

Prepare the Bread
  1. Toast the slices of whole grain bread in a toaster until golden brown.
Make the Avocado Smash
  1. In a bowl, scoop out the ripe avocados and mash them with a fork.
  2. Add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the mashed avocado and mix well.
  3. For extra creaminess, drizzle in olive oil and mix again.
Assemble the Toast
  1. Spread the avocado smash generously over the toasted bread.
  2. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and chopped fresh herbs if desired.
