Prepare the Filling
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water as directed on the packet. Stir in refried beans if using, and cook until heated through.
Assemble Tacos
- Place taco shells in a baking dish.
- Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture and top with shredded cheese.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
- Remove from the oven and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and jalapeños as desired.
