Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade
  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce Plus more for basting
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
Vegetables (optional)
  • 1 bell pepper Bell pepper Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium Red onion Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, BBQ sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
Skewer the Chicken
  1. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, alternating with vegetables if using.
Grill the Skewers
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Baste with additional BBQ sauce during grilling if desired.
Serve
  1. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your BBQ chicken skewers!
