Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the dry rub ingredients.
  4. Rub the dry mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
Cook the Ribs
  1. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
  3. Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil.
Finish with BBQ Sauce
  1. Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce.
  2. Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return ribs to the oven, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
