Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 1 loaf Baguette sliced
Topping
  • 4 medium Tomatoes diced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Topping
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
Toast the Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Assemble the Bruschetta
  1. Remove the toasted bread from the oven and top each slice with the tomato mixture. Serve immediately.
