Prepare the Cream Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Combine Coffee and Amaretto
- In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and amaretto liqueur.
Layer the Tiramisu
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee-amaretto mixture for a few seconds, then layer them in the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add half of the cherries on top of the mascarpone layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and cherries.
Chill and Serve
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
- Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with whole cherries.
