- Roll each slice of toast bread flat with a rolling pin.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, light brown sugar, and 3 teaspoons of cinnamon.
- Spread the mixture evenly over each slice of flattened toast.
- Roll the slices up tightly and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Heat the additional butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating well.
- Place the coated roll-ups in the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
