Ingredients
  

Butter Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened at room temperature
Flavorings
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Butter
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, chives, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Using a whisk or spatula, mix until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
Shape and Chill
  1. Transfer the butter mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap.
  2. Roll the plastic wrap tightly around the butter to form a log shape.
  3. Twist the ends of the plastic wrap to seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
Serve
  1. Once chilled, slice the Cowboy Butter into rounds and serve on grilled meats, vegetables, or bread.
