Ingredients
  

  • 1 head cabbage chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef browned
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese plus more for topping
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup bread crumbs for topping
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is cooked through and the onion is tender.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, cooked beef mixture, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the casserole.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
