- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and sea salt.
- In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before removing from the muffin tin.
