  • 125 grams self rising flour
  • 237 grams non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg for egg wash
  • everything bagel seasoning optional toppings
  • coarse salt optional toppings
  • sesame seeds optional toppings

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour and Greek yogurt. Stir together until nearly combined; the mixture will be crumbly.
  3. Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough until mostly combined. Avoid overworking; it will remain sticky.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal balls and gently shape each into a rope, connecting the ends to form bagels. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk the egg using a fork. Brush both sides of the bagels with the egg wash.
  6. Sprinkle with your choice of seasonings and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
