Easy Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
Chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast diced
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

Cook Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook Chicken
  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until chicken is golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Make Sauce
  1. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir in parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
