  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 cups Pasta elbow or penne
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add pasta to the skillet, cover, and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
