Ingredients
  

Steak and Marinade
  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce for marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for marinade
  • 2 tablespoons honey for marinade
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 bell pepper cut into chunks for skewering
  • 1 onion cut into chunks for skewering

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the steak cubes to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread the marinated steak, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  3. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
