Ingredients
  

Turkey Burger Mixture
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Lean
  • 1 cup Fresh Spinach Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese Crumbled
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs Optional for binding
Burger Toppings
  • 4 slices Tomato Sliced
  • 4 slices Lettuce Leafy
  • 4 buns Burger Buns Whole wheat recommended

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped spinach, feta cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
Form the Patties
  1. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Cook the Burgers
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Place each patty on a bun and top with tomato slices and lettuce. Serve immediately.
