Cooking the Chicken
- Heat 1/4 cup of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Making the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1/4 cup of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in thyme and return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
