Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter divided
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat 1/4 cup of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Making the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1/4 cup of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Stir in thyme and return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
