Baking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, maple syrup, peanut butter, avocado oil (or applesauce), and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and kosher salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle additional chocolate chips and flaky sea salt on top, if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into bars.
