- In a large bowl, combine warm water, liquid honey, and active dry yeast. Let it sit until foamy.
- Add all-purpose flour and sea salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a bagel.
- In a large pot, bring 10 cups of water and 1/4 cup of liquid honey to a boil.
- Boil each bagel for 1 minute on each side, then remove and place on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and 2 tablespoons of water for the egg wash. Brush the mixture over each bagel.
- Sprinkle Everything Bagel Seasoning on top of the bagels.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18 minutes or until golden brown.
