Prepare the Sauce
- In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry.
- Once the sauce is simmering, add the cornstarch slurry and stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool before using.
