For the Affogato
  • 4 scoops vanilla gelato
  • 4 shots freshly brewed espresso hot
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur optional
  • 4 sprigs fresh mint for garnish

Method
 

Assemble the Affogato
  1. Place one scoop of vanilla gelato in each serving glass.
  2. Brew the espresso shots and pour one shot over each scoop of gelato.
  3. Drizzle with coffee liqueur if using.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
