Prepare the Patties
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Grill the Burgers
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
- Toast the burger buns on the grill until golden brown.
- Layer lettuce, tomato, and pickles on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place the cooked patty on top, add ketchup and mustard, then top with the other half of the bun.
