Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Preheat your grill to 225°F (107°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- In a small bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
- Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Cook the Ribs
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
- Cook for 4-5 hours, until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone.
- Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce.
- Increase the grill temperature to 350°F (177°C) and cook for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more sauce halfway through.
Serve
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
