Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Preheat your grill to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
  4. Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Cook the Ribs
  1. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
  2. Cook for 4-5 hours, until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone.
  3. Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce.
  4. Increase the grill temperature to 350°F (177°C) and cook for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more sauce halfway through.
Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Slice between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the ribs reach an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C) for optimal tenderness.
