Ingredients
  

Syrup Base
  • 1 cup water filtered
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender ensure it's food-grade

Method
 

Make the Syrup
  1. In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the dried lavender to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to infuse the lavender flavor.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool for a few minutes.
  5. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bottle or jar to remove the lavender buds.
  6. Allow the syrup to cool completely before sealing and storing in the refrigerator.
