Cream Mixture
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest freshly grated
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
Ladyfinger Mixture
  • 24 pieces ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Whip until smooth and creamy.
  2. In another bowl, mix water, sugar, and lemon juice. Dip each ladyfinger in the mixture quickly to soak.
  3. Layer the soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish, then spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top.
  4. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
