  • 1/2 cup olive oil extra virgin preferred
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, honey, black pepper, oregano, thyme, and salt until well combined.
  2. Place the steak in a plastic bag or container and pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for best results.
