Ingredients
  

Tart Crust
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
Mascarpone Filling
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey optional, for drizzling

Method
 

Prepare the Tart Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  2. Stir in the egg yolk and cold water until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Let it cool completely.
Make the Mascarpone Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Tart
  1. Spread the mascarpone filling evenly over the cooled tart crust.
  2. Top with mixed berries and drizzle with honey if desired.
Serve
  1. Slice the tart and serve chilled. Enjoy!
