Ingredients

Fries
  • 4 cups frozen French fries or homemade fries
Toppings
  • 1 lb ground beef cooked and seasoned
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes for topping
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce for topping
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles for topping
  • 1/4 cup ketchup for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup mustard for drizzling

Method

Prepare the Fries
  1. Preheat the oven according to the frozen fries package instructions. Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Bake the fries until golden and crispy, about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook the Beef
  1. While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  2. Season the beef with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
Assemble the Loaded Fries
  1. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the cooked ground beef evenly over the fries.
  2. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  3. Remove from the oven and add diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and sliced pickles on top.
  4. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard before serving.
