  • 8 slices Bread Use whole wheat or white bread
  • 4 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1/2 cup Milk Can use dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder Adjust for spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Coriander Chopped
Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Oil or Butter For frying

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, and chopped coriander until well combined.
Dip the Bread
  1. Heat oil or butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
Cook the French Toast
  1. Place the coated bread slices in the hot pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve
