Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 pound Ground Beef (80/20) Chilled
Burger Toppings
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese Optional
  • 4 buns Burger Buns Toasted
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded
  • 1 tomato Tomato Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Mustard

Method
 

Cooking the Burgers
  1. Preheat the griddle or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into loose balls.
  3. Place each ball on the hot surface and immediately smash it down with a spatula to form a patty.
  4. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms, then flip the patties.
  5. Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
Assembling the Burgers
  1. Toast the burger buns on the griddle until golden brown.
  2. Layer lettuce, tomato, and pickles on the bottom half of each bun.
  3. Place the cooked patty on top of the toppings.
  4. Add ketchup and mustard, then top with the other half of the bun.
