Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 1 lb fresh crab meat preferably lump crab
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 cup red bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup cucumber diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise preferably homemade or high-quality
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 lemon for wedges

Method
 

Prepare the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, celery, red bell pepper, cucumber, and red onion.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the crab mixture and gently fold until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serve
  1. Transfer the crab salad to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
  2. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
